What cookies mean on our site
This Cookie Policy explains how barmajtek.com uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to run pages, remember your decision, and measure visits after consent. The goal is transparency about what is stored on your device and how you control it.
Necessary storage stays on at a minimum. Analytics and marketing are separate optional categories, denied by default, and their tools are not loaded until you explicitly choose them.
Necessary cookies
Necessary storage keeps your consent choice for no more than 180 days and helps protect forms from abuse. If you arrive with UTM or gclid parameters, bounded attribution is kept in session storage for at most two hours, sent only with a form you choose to submit, and removed after successful submission or withdrawal.
Click IDs, ref values, source, medium, campaign names, terms, and campaign content are not copied into analytics. Attribution stays separate and is sent only with the actual form submission. Campaign parameters are removed from the live address after capture.
Optional analytics and marketing
After analytics consent we may enable bounded Website events and Google Analytics. Microsoft Clarity may run only on public non-funnel pages. Browser events may not contain names, emails, phones, messages, proposal identifiers, signature links, free text, or arbitrary properties. Website server delivery remains disabled by default until a separate event-catalog and retention policy is published.
Marketing is separate and controls advertising storage and configured campaign tags. You can accept or reject each category independently, and the site and forms continue to work when both are rejected.
Retention and third parties
Category choices last up to 180 days. Local analytics visitor and session identifiers are created only after consent and removed on withdrawal. Form attribution expires within two hours or after submission. Analytics providers may apply separate retention under their configured policies.
On withdrawal we send denied signals to Google and Clarity, invoke PostHog opt-out when present, stop future Website events, and remove optional identifiers, campaign attribution, and cookies that the site can clear locally. The page may reload to safely remove an already-loaded replay recorder.
Policy updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when measurement tools or consent requirements change. The updated date appears at the top of the page. For more questions about cookies, contact BarmajTek via the contact page.
Practical examples
Example: if you arrive with utm_campaign and open a contact form within two hours, attribution is attached only to that form. If you do not submit, it expires automatically. The Website beacon never receives a full referrer query string or unsanitized page URL.
Another example: rejecting optional categories prevents analytics and marketing scripts from loading from Website code. Cookies do not give us access to other files on your device.
Browser and device controls
You can delete or block cookies in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or other browsers. Some browsers support cross-site tracking prevention; enabling it may reduce measurement accuracy even after in-site consent.
On shared or public devices, clear browsing data after you finish — especially if you consented to measurement. This Cookie Policy complements the Privacy Policy and does not replace it.
